How You’ll Be Assessed

Students may sit the course examination after completing the learning material and passing the relevant module quizzes. The assessment measures understanding of the course content through multiple-choice questions selected from the available question bank.

Pattern:

  • The examination lasts 2 hours and is open book.
  • A minimum score of 70% is required for a pass.
  • Learners who do not pass may attempt the examination again.
  • A maximum of three attempts is permitted within a 10-hour period.
  • After the third attempt, learners must wait 24 hours before taking the examination again and should use this time to review the course content.
  • Once an examination has been passed, it cannot be retaken simply to obtain a higher score.
  • There is currently no separate comprehensive programme examination; learners complete the programme by successfully passing the required course examinations.
