COMPLETION REQUIREMENTS

How You’ll Be Assessed

The ACLS certification contains two assessment components:

  1. Written examination: Multiple-choice questions covering algorithms, pharmacology, and clinical scenarios.
  2. Practical assessment: Demonstration of BLS and ACLS procedures, airway management, AED use, team leadership, and protocol application during simulated megacode scenarios.

Learners must successfully complete both components to obtain ACLS certification.
