About This Programme

Medical emergencies can occur in any workplace, making prompt and confident action essential. The First Aid & CPR course develops the knowledge and practical skills required to assess emergencies, provide immediate assistance, perform CPR, use an AED, control bleeding, and support an injured or unwell person until professional help arrives.

COMPLETION REQUIREMENTS

How You’ll Be Assessed

Learners may take the assessment after studying the course content and completing the module quizzes. Multiple-choice questions selected from an extensive question bank measure their understanding.

Assessment pattern:

  • The assessment is open book and must be completed within two hours.
  • A minimum score of 65% is required to pass.
  • An unsuccessful assessment may be attempted again.
  • A maximum of three attempts is allowed within a 10-hour period.
  • After the third attempt, learners must wait 24 hours before trying again.
  • A successful assessment cannot be repeated solely to improve the score.
  • No separate programme examination is currently available; every required course assessment must be passed.
