How You’ll Be Assessed

The course assessment is completed after learners have studied the training material and passed the relevant module quizzes. The final examination is intended to measure knowledge of the first aid procedures and principles covered throughout the course.

  • The examination is open book.
  • The examination duration is 2 hours.
  • A minimum score of 65% is required to pass.
  • Learners may retake the examination if they are unsuccessful.
  • A maximum of three attempts is permitted within a 10-hour period.
  • After three unsuccessful attempts, learners must wait 24 hours before another attempt.
  • A passed examination cannot be repeated to improve the final score.
  • There is no separate comprehensive program examination; learners must successfully complete the required course assessments.
