  • Analyse collected evidence and prepare an objective, no-blame account of events with appropriate preventive recommendations.
  • Evaluate effective ways of working with emergency services, legal professionals, pathologists, scientific specialists, media representatives, families, regulators, and other stakeholders.

COMPLETION REQUIREMENTS

How You’ll Be Assessed

Once learners have completed the course material and passed the required module quizzes, they may take the course examination. The assessment measures understanding of the subject through multiple-choice questions selected from a comprehensive question bank.

Pattern:

  • The examination is open book and has a duration of 2 hours.
  • A minimum score of 65% is required for a passing result.
  • Learners may retake the examination if they are unsuccessful.
  • Students may attempt the examination a maximum of three times during a 48-hour period.
  • Following three unsuccessful attempts, a 48-hour waiting period applies before another attempt.
  • Learners should use this period to review the course material and strengthen their understanding.
  • An examination that has already been passed cannot be retaken for the purpose of obtaining a higher score.
  • No separate comprehensive programme examination is currently provided. Successful completion of all required course examinations is necessary to complete the programme.
