About This Programme

Electricity is an essential part of modern workplaces, but inadequate controls and unsafe practices can expose workers to serious hazards. Electrical incidents can result in electric shock, burns, fires, and fatal injuries, particularly in high-risk working environments.

OSHAS General Electrical Safety training introduces participants to fundamental electrical safety principles and safe working practices. The course explains common electrical hazards, protective measures, electrical isolation, equipment safety, and the responsibilities of qualified and unqualified workers.

How You’ll Be Assessed

Learners may take the course examination after completing the course material and required module quizzes. The examination consists of multiple-choice questions designed to assess understanding of electrical safety principles.

Exam Pattern:

  • Time allowed: 2 hours
  • The examination is open book.
  • A minimum score of 65% is required to pass.
  • Learners may retake the examination if they do not pass.
  • A maximum of three attempts is permitted within a 48-hour period.
  • After three attempts, learners must wait 48 hours before another attempt.
  • Learners should review the course material before retaking the examination.
  • A passed examination cannot be retaken solely to improve the score.
  • There is currently no separate comprehensive programme examination. All required course examinations must be successfully completed.
